Soulful Parenting
The Soulful Parenting Group provides an open and welcoming space for connection, reflection, and support. We are liberal, thoughtful, kind-hearted folks navigating the parenting journey together. Whether you’re seeking solidarity, shared wisdom, or simply a safe place to exhale, you’ll find community here.

Camping
Spending time camping together enhances our bonds and allows us to forge new connections. We organize two camping trips each year.
We’re a low-pressure event! No need to rsvp, heck—we won’t even care if you don’t read all the books. You can sound sophisticated to your friends when you talk about “going to book club”. We meet the first Tuesday of each month from 7-8:15 pm.

Senior Coffee
The Senior Coffee group, facilitated by Rev. Joanna, meets year-round on the first and third Thursdays of the month, from 10:30 am. There is a topic for discussion for each meeting, most dealing with issues relevant to those 60 and over.

Men's Group
The Men's Group would be thrilled for you to participate. Our meetings occur on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the church library. It’s a wonderful chance to connect, share, and grow together. We eagerly anticipate seeing you there.
The LOUU Church Ladies Lunch group will meet on the second Monday at La Madeleine – Lakeline. All who identify as women, ages 16 and over, are welcome at this informal lunch. We will begin ordering in the line at noon (or you can order ahead on their website), then meet at 12:15 in the back room.

Circle Suppers
Circle Suppers are hosted “potluck” events for 8-10 people. They are a great way to get to know people in a comfortable, intimate setting. Suppers will be announced in the newsletter.

Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church is unambiguously, unapologetically progressive. Here, we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, we know every identity is a divine expression of humanity, and we commit to the work of dismantling systemic racism and other oppressions, striving for a world where equity, compassion, and justice are the cornerstones of our shared existence.
