How iPhone users should add it

• Instead of tapping a “+ Google Calendar” button (which can fail):

• Go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar.

• Paste the .ics URL from the step above into the Server field, tap Next, then Save.

This subscribes their iPhone directly to the public feed.

If Apple users are using the Google Calendar app on iPhone instead of Apple Calendar, they can simply open the app, tap ☰ → Settings → Add calendar → From URL, and paste the same .ics link.
