Feeding people is a tangible way to honor the inherent worth and dignity of every person. It is a beautiful thing to hear the hum of conversations and the smell of coffee in the fellowship hall after the Sunday service. Sharing food creates a space where everyone truly belongs, exactly as they are.

Sharing food reminds us of our interdependent web, connecting the earth, the hands that cooked, and the mouths that eat. Our tables are wide open to all beliefs, backgrounds, and identities. Food bridges differences and builds community without needing words.

We also practice inclusion with our hospitality - offering vegan, gluten-free, and allergen-safe options as an act of love and accessibility. We create sanctuary - offering a warm beverage or a simple snack as an emotional comfort in a stressful world.

Just as our chalice represents light and warmth; our hospitality puts that warmth into practice. Many thanks to those of you who bring donuts and other goodies for the group as a whole. If you would like to provide a snack for coffee hour, please let me know.
