People costuming as a particular gender goes back to before Shakespeare’s time. Our parents and grandparents watched Jonathan Winters, Flip Wilson, and Milton Berle cross-dress on the regular. But in a bizarre twist, 2023 is turning into the year in which gender-expansiveness is being attacked. Come to this joyful celebration of drag history and gender euphoria as we remember the history of gender playfulness.
